Garbarino got an important order in Fincantieri: the supply of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps for the Leonardo project (six cruise ships for the owner Norwegian Cruise Line). With this prestigious order Garbarino has supplied 127 cruise ships worldwide.

Garbarino is increasing its cooperation with Veolia Water Technologies Egypt: they will supply several vertically suspended line-shaft pumps with recessed impeller to a power plant in Egypt (South Helwan).

Garbarino will supply again the Finnish owner Viking Line: after the first LNG-fuelled ro-pax vessel built few years ago in Finland (Viking Grace) Garbarino won a new order for 1+1 LNG-fuelled ro-pax vessel with Xiamen Shipbuilding in China.

03/05/2018 - Qatari Navy
Garbarino has added a new customer in the naval sector: the pumps manufacturer will supply four multirole corvettes (Doha Class) for the Qatari Navy built by Fincantieri shipyard. Garbarino has reached 28 foreign navies in its naval reference list.

The positive moment of the industrial sector is going on after the first orders got at the beginning of 2018 with destination Kuwait, Iran and Tunisia: Garbarino will supply several multistage vertical pumps and chemical horizontal pumps in Egypt to a thermal power plant located in Assiut and owned by Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company.

Also in 2018 the cooperation between Garbarino and the engineering company Metito Overseas Ltd (Sharjah, U.A.E.) goes on: Garbarino will supply several multistage high pressure pumps and several horizontal pumps according to EN 733 to a combined cycle power plant located in Rades, Tunisia.

The cooperation between Garbarino and Baku Shipyard in Azerbaijan has increased over the last months: after the first order got at the beginning of 2018 (two ferries) Garbarino has been awarded with a new order (two self propelled tankers) for the local owner Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company.

Garbarino has got two new orders in the industrial market for supplying a power plant and a steel company in Iran: through the engineering companies AC Boilers and Sideridraulic System Garbarino will supply several high pressure multistage pumps and several horizontal pumps according to EN 733 standard to Heris Combined Cycle Power Plant and Arvand Jahanara Steel Company.
05/02/2018 - New orders in 2018
Garbarino started 2018 with a new order from Kuwait: the engineering company Alghanim International will supply several chemical pumps (CN) to the power plant Sabiya CCGT-3 owned by MEW (Ministry of Electricity&Water). In the marine sector Garbarino got orders from Ukraine (a grain reloader tug with Nibulon Shipyard) and from Azerbaijan (two car-railway-passenger ferries with Baku Shipyard).
